Project Overview
In an advertising class instructed by Dr. Shanahan, I, alongside four other students, were tasked with creating an ad campaign for the Ryno, which can be seen in the image to the right.
This was the first time that time that anyone of us had heard of Ryno before, and the product was not well known at the time of our project. After conducting a brief brand analysis and brainstorming, our group came up with defining characteristics for Ryno. These characteristics led us to placing Ryno in a hypothetical scenario in Austin, Texas because of the city's world-renown reputation for being weird. Based on our research, we believed that Ryno could be used as a safer alternative to a Segway in a weird city like Austin with a tour agency that does not offer conventional city tours like Bob Bullock Stars.
